I have no idea if there are several different firmware versions for the Denver
DVD-176 DVD-player, as I don't know of any way to find out about which firmware version a
specific player has. The results below is what I have received when I tested my
DVD-176.
As it takes far to long to do all test with both CD-R and CD-RW media, I have decided to do all tests with CD-R (except DVD-tests of course) and then just do one or two tests with CD-RW. If the player can read CD-RW in one test, it can probably do so in other tests to.
Below is a list of the media type of the CD's that have been used in the tests. The media type of the CD's as reported by "Plextor CDR Info v1.15" is:
CD-R | CD-RW | |
---|---|---|
Speed | Not known | 4X - 10X compatible |
MSF | 79:59:74 | 74:43:00 |
LBA | 359999 | 336225 |
Manufacturer | Ritek (type 1) | Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (type 3) |
Media Code | 97m15s11f | 97m34s23f |
