.I have tried to play CD-R discs in my NorthQ 7100. The player had no problems with the disc I have tried so far. The CD I did the test with was ripped from a bought audio-CD burned onto a CD-R media with my LG GSA-4040B DVD-burner using Nero.
I have tried the following CD-R media in my NorthQ 7100:

Of course it would be interesting to test other brands
of media, to see if the NorthQ works with media from different
manufacturers. But at the moment, I don't have the time and motivation to do it
