I thought that I could at least try to put a couple of WMA-songs (Windows Media Audio) on a CD to see if the United 3155 could play them.
So I encoded a couple of songs in WMA8, 44.1kHz, Stereo, and burned them onto a regular data CD. When I put the CD in the DVD-player, this is what showed up on the screen:

As you can see, the player did not even recognize any of the .wma files. |
So it seems that the United 3155 player cannot play WMA files!
