VCD compatibility

I have tried VCD compatibility with two VCD's downloaded from VCDHelp on the 10:th of July 2002:

• "VCD PAL Sample including Menus, Stills, Chapters"
• "VCD NTSC Sample including Menus, Stills, Chapters"

EuroLine 6620 without VCD/SVCD capabilities

Whenever I insert a VCD into the EuroLine 6620, it first displays , then it gets blankfor a short while. It then displays , then the screen just goes blank (blue). If I press "PLAY" on the remote control, the player immediately shows on the screen.

The same thing happens if I have the VCD's on CD-RW media.

I have also tried the player with VCD's made with NERO and WinOnCD, but always gets the same result.

EuroLine 6620 with VCD/SVCD capabilities

As I don't have any EuroLine 6620 with VCD/SVCD capabilities, I don't know how it works with VCD's. But it will probably work about the same as my United 3155.
