A MP3-DVD is a DVD-disc with MP3-files burned as a regular data-DVD.
To try out the MP3-DVD compatibility of the EuroLine/United, I burned a DVD with the same structure as the CD I burned to test MP3-compatibility. Then I inserted it in the DVD-player and hoped for the best.
This is what the DVD-player had to say about that DVD:

So the EuroLine/United players does not seem to play MP3-DVD discs. According to VCDhelp it is very few standalone DVD players that can play MP3-DVD. They verify DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW as video only, and does not expect to find MP3 files on it.
